Leadership That Gives Back
We believe the work of developing people does not stop at the organisations that can afford to pay for it. These are the causes and communities we are proud to support.
Leadership development changed Therese's life. That sense of what is possible when people are properly supported, genuinely invested in and given the tools to grow, is something we want to extend beyond our commercial work wherever we can.
The people in our team bring their own causes and commitments with them. Mental health in the hospitality industry. Children in hospital. Suicide prevention. These are not corporate partnerships chosen for visibility. They are personal, and that is why they matter to us.

Food For Thought
Food for Thought was founded by our chef coach Daniel Hannigan as a series of fine dining pop-up events bringing together some of Ireland's best known chefs to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention charity 3Ts — Turn the Tide of Suicide.
Daniel lost his own father to suicide when he was five years old. Growing up in the hospitality industry, where pressure is relentless and asking for help is rarely part of the culture, he wanted to do something that used the thing he loves most — food — to open up the conversation around mental health.
The concept behind every Food for Thought event is simple and intentional. Guests are seated with people they do not know. Strangers sharing a table, a meal and an evening together. The idea is that conversation follows naturally, and that the act of sitting down with someone new, without the safety net of familiar faces, is itself a small act of courage that reflects the wider message of the night.
Since 2017, Food for Thought has raised over €60,000 across 15 events. Venues have included L'Ecrivain, Mulberry Garden and Charlotte Quay, with some of Ireland's finest chefs giving their time and talent to the cause.
Stone by Stone Leadership is proud to have Daniel as part of our team, and proud to support the work of Food for Thought and 3Ts as they continue to break down the stigma around suicide and mental health in Ireland.
Children In Hospital Ireland
Children in Hospital Ireland works to ensure that every child who goes into hospital receives the care, attention and support they need — not just medically, but emotionally and developmentally. They train and place volunteers who bring play, activity and human connection into wards where children and families are going through some of the hardest days of their lives.
Lucy, our trainer, volunteers regularly with Children in Hospital Ireland, spending time on the wards bringing some normality and joy to children during their stays. In 2025, Lucy and Cian, our Client Relations Manager, took on the Dublin Marathon together to raise funds for the charity — a challenge neither of them will forget in a hurry.
We also support their work through donations. It is a reminder that leadership is not only about what happens in boardrooms and kitchens. It is about showing up for people when they need it most.
3 T’s -Turn The Tide
Since 2003, 3Ts has been at the forefront of suicide prevention in Ireland, raising awareness, funding research and supporting organisations and communities across the country.
Therese volunteers with 3Ts to deliver their NOSP-approved safeTALK training to workplaces across Ireland. SafeTALK equips people with the skills to recognise when someone may be thinking about suicide and to connect them with the right help. It is practical, potentially life-saving training, and Therese is honoured to play a small part in bringing it to more people.
If your organisation is interested in hosting a safeTALK session, you can find out more directly through 3Ts.
